Design Build is a fairly new but rapidly growing service offered by Dalar that keeps Dalar ahead of its time in construction technology.

Design Build is a process that allows prospective clients to determine and create a “wish List” which identifies their requirements for either a new building or addition/alterations to their existing building. Dalar works closely with the client to assist them in evaluating their needs, and guiding them through a step-by-step solution to their needs. Every detail is taken care of for the client from inception, including obtaining a legal survey, topographical drawings, soils reports or environmental studies for the subject property should it be required. Dalar has a host of superior industry professionals to ensure that the most qualified experts in the business address every detail.

Once the initial stage is complete, Dalar then designs preliminary drawings for the client, which would clearly indicate such concerns as zoning requirements, setback requirements, parking requirements, landscape requirements, site services available (storm water management, fire prevention services, grading issues, sanitary lines, hydro connections etc.). This enables the client to make quick decisions for effective solutions as the need arises. Preliminary designs include a site plan, floor plans, elevations and interior and exterior perspectives we would undertake to prepare drawings for site plan Application for the municipality which would include the above noted drawings plus site servicing drawings, grading plans, landscape plans and lot lighting plans suitable for submission to the Municipality for approval.

Once all of the required approvals have been obtained, Dalar can quickly and efficiently organize, manage, and retain the most qualified, competent professional consultants. These would include licensed Architects, Structural Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, all of whom would work closely with the Dalar team project manager and design team throughout the process. When it comes to designing and finishing the interior of a building, the client easily maintains a high level of input where their tastes and expectations are given careful consideration and painstaking attention to details. Dalar’s reputation for working closely with the client, and delivering the job as requested is unprecedented in an environment where there are so many key people in every stage throughout the stages of construction.

Throughout the entire process the Owner is an integral part of the design team and is involved with every phase and decision throughout the course of a project.
