"Crossby dewar retained the services of dalar contracting as a design / build contractor for our office / warehouse facility located in pickering, ontario.

Preliminary meetings were held to ensure a ‘good fit'with the dalar team and design followed shortly thereafter.   The entire process from engagement to completion has taken eleven months. During this period the dalar team has maintained an efficient and complimentary workforce and always acted in our best interest.

With several stake holders having an interest in the project dalar was both patient and loyal to our multiple and ever changing requirements and requests.

Options were always made available with requests being quickly responded to.

Our relationship with dalar has been somewhat different in that the contract was structured to identify and take advantage of cost saving measures for a win win outcome.

We are extremly pleased with the result and recommend dalar contracting for you future design / build requirements.

Dalar Contracting commenced site work in June 2001 and building construction August 2001 and had our building ready for business in mid March 2002. The work was completed on time and on budget which I greatly appreciate.

The real story lies in how you were able to accomplish this. Progressive deadlines were met by working whatever hours were necessary to complete tasks on time, including Saturdays and Sundays. Change orders were processed in an efficient manner and priced fairly. Your people and your contractors dealt with problems in a fair and efficient manner enabling you to complete our building in the time frame required by BMW Canada.

I especially want to thank Vince Pompilio, site supervisor and Howard Dale. Vince pushed the project with a goal to build a state of the art facility and finish on time, no compromises. Howard was there to support us and deal with the inevitable surprises before they became problems.

I did one job with them building a Price Chopper store at Mavis and Bristol last summer and the job was completed on time for us to open on August 29, 2000.
